Magna names new president for China region

CATL, Yutong Commercial Vehicle team up on battery swapping for long-haul logistics
In a move to further expand in the long-haul logistics market, Yutong Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. this week entered into a long-term strategic partnership with CATL for duration of five years (2023-2028). The collaboration aims to focus on and cultivate the market for electric truck battery swapping on long-haul routes.
At the same time, both companies will share resources in the field of commercial vehicle battery swapping. They will collaborate on the development and application of new materials, systems, and technologies, working together to establish industry standards for commercial vehicle batteries.
General Motors introduces Proxima design project at Shanghai-based design studio
On June 6, General Motors ("GM") unveiled the progress achieved by the GM China Advanced Design Center since the studio was expanded and renovated, highlighting the studio's creative growth and contribution to GM's global advanced design footprint.
