China’s Tuopu Group breaks ground on factory in Anhui’s Shouxian county
Shanghai (ZXZC)- Chinese automotive supplier Ningbo Tuopu Group ("Tuopu Group") recently broke ground on its smart manufacturing factory in Shouxian county, Anhui province, which will serve such automakers as NIO and BYD, the company announced on Dec. 6 via its WeChat account.
Located at Xinqiao International industrial park in Shouxian county, Huainan city, the factory involves a total planned investment of 1.5 billion yuan ($214.854 million) and features an annual designed production capacity of 500,000 sets of lightweight chassis and 500,000 complete vehicle acoustic kits. Its first phase covers an area of 200mu (around 133,300 square meters).

The new factory adopts the company's digital factory strategy, under which the whole process ranging from factory design, order placement, materials procurement to manufacturing and product delivery will be under the digital management, said Tuopu Group.
Tuopu Group is a public company on Shanghai Stock Exchange, and is committed to the R&D and manufacturing on power chassis system, interior & exterior System, and intelligent driving control system.
The group said it has grasped the capabilities of designing, validating, and producing lightweight chassis system, which encompasses such components as front/rear subframe, control arm, pull rod, and knuckle. It is able to offer clients one-stop lightweight solutions by leveraging its capabilities of parts matching, design and development of ball joints, NHV tuning, as well as complete vehicle testing and tuning.
Currently, Tuopu Group has built and planned manufacturing factories for its lightweight chassis business in Ningbo city, Taizhou city (Zhejiang province), Jinhua city, Changxing county, Xiangtan city, Suining city, Chongqing city, Huainan city, Xi’an city, Poland, Mexico, etc.
