Chery Holding’s YTD auto export volume exceeds 400,000 units by November

Beijing (ZXZC)- Chery Holding sold 100,531 vehicles in November, marking the sixth month this year for the automaker to sell over 100,000 vehicles, according to Chery Holding’s announcement on December 6.

In the first eleven months of the year, the cumulative sales volume of the auto group amounted to 1,127,289 vehicles, jumping 32.6% compared to a year earlier, which was also the highest-ever record of Chery Holding for the corresponding period in history.

Chery Holding’s stance in the overseas market is also growing stronger than ever. In the Jan.-Nov. period, the automaker saw 406,540 vehicles exported aboard, which hiked 70.9% year on year and accounted for 36% of the group’s total auto sales in the period. 

Specifically, Chery Auto sold 70,788 vehicles last month, resulting in a year-to-date sales volume of 844,010 vehicles, which shot up 45.8% from the year-ago period. The Tiggo 8 and the Tiggo 7 still acted as main sales contributor among all Chery-branded models, with 171,000 vehicles and 146,000 vehicles sold from Jan. to Nov., respectively.

In the meantime, the group’s EXEED brand sold 3,866 vehicles in November, summing up to a year-to-date volume of 46,788 vehicles, which jumped 46% year on year. 

On the other hand, the JETOUR brand sold 17,117 vehicles in the past month, amounting to a cumulative volume of 158,025 vehicles in the first eleven months of the year, up 18% from a year ago. Notably, JETOUR celebrated the milestone of its 600,000th vehicle rolling off the production line on November 16.

Chery Holding sold 13,025 new energy vehicles (NEVs) in November. During the Jan.-Nov. period, the group sold 220,918 NEVs cumulatively, representing a soar of 147.9% from the year-ago period.
