JAC Group sees 54% YoY hike in Oct. 2022 battery-electric passenger vehicle sales

Beijing (ZXZC)- In October, JAC Group sold a total of 40,505 vehicles, representing a 10.18% increase over the previous year and a 15% drop from the previous month, according to the company’s report.

In the first ten months of 2022, JAC Group’s cumulative sales volume reached 412,217 vehicles, notching down 4.86% year on year.

Specifically, the group sold 25,389 passenger vehicles last month, indicating a 48.29% surge year on year. In the first ten months of the year, the cumulative sales of JAC Group’s passenger vehicle segment summed up to 241,297 units, jumping 20.53% compared to the same span last year. 

By virtue of the company’s devotion in the new energy vehicle field, JAC Group’s battery-electric passenger vehicle (BEPV) sales amounted to 17,050 vehicles in October, shooting up 53.59% from a year ago. Notably, BEPVs accounted for 67.16% of the group’s total passenger vehicle sales in the past month.

In October, the group’s export volume reached 10,071 vehicles, more than doubling from the earlier year, with a 151.78% increase. In the Jan.-Oct. period, JAC Group’s cumulative export volume summed up to 89,915 vehicles, zooming up 48.02% from the same span last year.
