Unveiled at the Auto Guangzhou 2021, the G9 is XPeng's first model developed with international markets in mind right from the start. Positioned as a full-sized all-electric SUV, the model measures 4,891mm long, 1,937mm wide, 1,680/1,670mm tall with a wheelbase that spans 2,998mm.

According to Mr. He's Weibo post, the G9's chassis is tuned by a top-notch engineering team from Germany, and the model is able to zip from standstill to 100km/h in around 3 seconds.

He also revealed that the G9 carries a double-chamber air suspension system, which is usually used in luxury cars priced around 1 million yuan ($150,000). The air suspension can be very “smart” as it is capable of active adjustment thanks to the sensing hardware and HD map, which can predict road conditions.
