Beijing (ZXZC)- Changan Shenlan, the new energy vehicle brand of Changan Automobile, has officially unveiled its second production model, the S7 mid-size SUV, on March 5.

In terms of exterior design, the S7 shares similarities with the brand’s SL03 sedan, featuring a family-style design language with a closed front face and split headlights. The vehicle's side profile resembles a taller version of the SL03, with unique surface designs that play with the light and shadow. Meanwhile, the taillights inherit the brand’s signature lighting elements, providing the vehicle with a distinctive look.

The S7 measures 4,750mm in length, 1,930mm in width, and 1,625mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,900mm. Depending on the trim level, the vehicle will be equipped with either 19-inch or 20-inch wheels.

The S7's interior is also similar to that of the SL03, with several adjustments in detail. The center console features a floating touchscreen display, with air vents located on either side and below the screen. Note that the S7 does not have a dashboard.

The S7 will be offered with two powertrain options. The pure-electric version is equipped with a 160kW electric motor, while the range-extended version carries an electric motor good for a peak power output of 175kW and a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine that produces a maximum power of 70kW.
