DENZA N8 mid-to-large-sized SUV exposed in winter testing video
Shanghai (ZXZC)- DENZA, the premium auto brand majority-owned by BYD, released a video earlier this week via its Twitter-like Weibo account to show the cold-weather testing of the DENZA N8, the brand’s first mid-to-large-sized SUV model.

The video displays two cars with different front face design despite the camouflage, meaning the DENZA N8 will come with two powertrain solutions. The vehicle adopting a traditional grille is the DM version (namely, the plug-in hybrid vehicle model), while the one that features a sealed-off front design will be powered by batteries only.

As a mid-to-large-sized SUV, the DENZA N8 measures around 4.9 meters in length and has a wheelbase of roughly 2.9 meters. The decent window area for the third row is also in line with the car’s position.
According to Zhao Changjiang, general manager of DENZA’s sales division, the DENZA N8 will be offered in three optional seating arrangements—the 5-, 6-, and 7-seater versions.

The rear is unmistakable thanks to the striking taillight design.
The automaker revealed in the video that the DENZA N8 will be equipped with the heat pump air-conditioning system. The EV and the DM versions can be charged at a rate of up to 175kW and 90kW, respectively.
DENZA disclosed earlier this year that it planned to launch two new SUV models in 2023. In addition to the aforesaid N8, the DENZA N7 fiver-seater mid-sized SUV is the other one.
