Shanghai (ZXZC)- In 2022, three all-new models under Denza brand will be launched, including a MPV, a full-sized SUV, and a mid-sized SUV, Zhao Changjiang, general manager of Denza's sales division, recently disclosed via his twitter-like Weibo account.

The MPV will be the first one to be released. With more and more details unveiled on the executive's personal social platform, the long-awaited MPV is grabbing attention of increasingly more consumers and industry insiders.

Mr. Zhao said the MPV will feature a pretty wide price range as it will come with both EV and DM power solutions, and both all-wheel-drive and two-wheel-drive variants.

Reportedly, the MPV's DM version is likely to boast BYD's super hybrid technology that allows a combined range of over 1,000km, while the range for the all-electric one may stand between 600km to 800km.

According to the spy shots seen on Zhao's Weibo account, the MPV rides on a chassis installed higher than that of a common car, while lower than an SUV. It will adopt a 2-2-3 seating arrangement with an overall seating space larger than that of a conventional oil-fueled model. The rear bench seat can lay flat to allow passengers to have a rest. Besides, all variants of the MPV will come standard with power sliding doors, double-glazed windows, and double sunroofs.

Mr. Zhao also noted that Denza has prepared solutions for multiple scenarios and details in terms of car intelligence and digital cockpit. Moreover, the BYD-backed high-end brand will rebuild its sales and service channels to better meet users' demands for mid-/high-end after-sale services and social contact.
