GAC Group’s AION brand makes foray into Nepali market
Shanghai (ZXZC)- On May 23rd, GAC AION held a launch event for its AION brand in Kathmandu, Nepal's capital, with the country's first AION brand showroom opened at the same time, marking the brand's official foray into the Nepali market, according to a post on GAC AION's WeChat account.

The event took place at the Thapathali showroom, located in a prime area of Kathmandu. The new showroom covers an area of approximately 210 square meters and features a modern glass façade, making it a distinctive presence on the city's auto brand street.
The AION Y, the first AION-branded model introduced to Nepal, was unveiled at the event. It is one of GAC AION's best-selling pure electric SUVs.\

In addition to the AION Y, GAC AION plans to launch several new models in Nepal this year. These vehicles are designed to handle Nepal's challenging terrain and varied climate, offering efficient, reliable, and enjoyable travel experiences to the local people. With abundant water and electricity resources, developing intelligent electric vehicles is part of Nepal's national action plan. GAC AION, with its extensive experience in manufacturing and selling new energy vehicles, is well-positioned to support Nepal in advancing its electric vehicle sector and accelerating its energy transition.
