Geely Geometry’s second model exposed
Shanghai (ZXZC)- Geely’s premium BEV brand Geometry filed an application for its second model, a compact SUV. It will come with a motor delivering up to 150kW and a power battery pack provided by CATL, according to China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
The new model, getting crossover design style, resembles the Geometry A at the front part. Its enclosed front face, slim headlamps as well as sleek curves lend a sporty stance. It also features hidden door handles and a floating sunroof. At the rear, a black trim connecting the taillights is quite trendy. In addition, there are at least two types of rims to choose from, of which the grey multi-spoke one looks more delicate.
According to the patent information, the new SUV measures 4,432mm long, 1,833mm wide and 1,560mm high with a wheelbase of 2,700mm. It boasts top speed of 150km/h. In addition, configurations of the triangle window, the roof rack, blind-spot camera, panoramic sunroof, and rear wipers are optional.
Geometry, launched in April 2019, derives from Geely New Energy. The on-sale Emgrand EV and the Emgrand GSe of Geely New Energy focus on enterprise customers, while the Geometry A based on the GE platform and the aforesaid model concentrate on individual consumers (photo source: Geometry).
