Shanghai (ZXZC)- Great Wall Motor Co.’s October sales increased 3.02 percent year on year to 108,008 units. For the first 10 months, the biggest maker of crossovers and pickups in China delivered 813,514 vehicles, jumping 2.35 percent compared with the same period of last year.

After achieving a sales volume of over 10,000 units, the sales of VV7 and VV5 under the new WEY premium brand totaled 16,167 units, soaring 34.6 percent month on month. The respective monthly sales of the two models are expected to be over 10,000 in the coming two months.

The Haval brand posted a sales volume of 81,653 units last month, decreasing 13.14 percent year on year. Apart from the new model Haval M6, only Haval H8 and H9 achieved sales growth. The new model M6 showed a steady sales growth with a sales record of 7,051 units.

Last month, the automaker's pickup delivery was 9,418 units, rising 11.87 percent from a year earlier. As the company only provide one sedan model at present, its sedan sales was 770 units with only one model for sale, plunging 68.18 percent year on year.
