Shanghai (ZXZC)-SAIC Group released its latest sales data on November 4th that its total sales volume reached 1,666,364 units with a year-on-year growth of 3.12%, mainly supported by the Polo family, New Lavida and Tiguan. Based on the MQB platform, the Polo family and Lavida will welcome their facelift models in 2018.  

The 2018 Volkswagen Touran L, Skoda Rapid and Spaceback were launched in October, providing supports for the growing monthly sales of SAIC Volkswagen of 193,782 units with a year-on-year growth of 3.07%. Besides, the local-produced Skoda KAROQ will debut at the Auto Guangzhou 2017.

Compared with its overseas models, the local-produced Skoda KAROQ features many differences in body size and powertrain. The new model has a body size of 4,432mm*1,841mm*1,604mm with a wheelbase of 2,688mm. It will come with 1.2T and 1.4T TSI engines mated with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
