Geely October sales set another record

Shanghai (ZXZC)- Last month, Geely delivered 125,118 vehicles, jumping 30 percent year on year. In the home market, the automaker’s sales reached 124,360 units, increasing 31 percent compared with the same period of last year.

In the first ten months of this year, Geely sold 952,226 vehicles with a year-on-year surge of 72 percent and has achieved 87 percent of its annual sales target.

In October, a peak season for auto industry, there are a total of six Geely models whose sales exceed 10,000. Geely NL3 was the best seller as usual with a sales volume of 30,138 units, achieving the best monthly sales in this year.

The automaker’s another SUV model, Emgrand GS’s delivery was 16,063 units, achieving the biggest month-on-month growth rate in the first ten months. By the end of October, the model’s YTD sales reached 114,247 units.

In the sedan segment, Geely’s New Emgrand also showed outstanding sales performance with 27,033 units sold. The sedan’s cumulative sales of this year have reached 211,661 units.

In September, Lynk & CO, an automotive brand owned by China-based Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, was reported to officially launch its first mass-produced model at the coming Guangzhou Auto Show.
