Shanghai, May 24th, ZXZC - Currently, a total of 14 companies have obtained production certificates for alternative energy vehicles, including BAIC BJEV, Changjiang EV, Qiantu Motor, Chery New Energy, Jiangsu Minan, Wanxiang Group, JMC EV, Chongqing Jinkang, NEVS, Yudo Auto, Know Beans, SD EV, Hozon Auto and Green Wheel. The following part will introduce the spotlights in the above companies.

BAIC BJEV is paying great efforts in extending sales channels. Its alternative energy vehicle project has a total investment of RMB 1.1b, planning to target an annual capacity of 70,000 units. Now BAIC BJEV has 245 channel outlets, with 59 A-net channels and 486 B-net channels. It plans to achieve 350 to 400 sales channels at the end of 2017.

Changjiang EV invests RMB 800.9m in the alternative energy vehicle project, making full use of its integration advantages in whole industry chain. K50 model from Qiantu Motor is expected to be launched at the end of year with an annual sales target of 5,000 units. Chery New Energy is planning to achieve an annual capacity of 360,000 units. Jiangsu Minan obtains support from local governments in the approval and construction process. Wanxiang Group purchases alternative energy batteries production technologies and auto companies from overseas companies, accumulating its own production and sales advantages. JMC EV will construct three platforms to produce more than 20 models.

To support the alternative energy vehicle project, Sokon Group will increase an investment of RMB 700m to Chongqing Jinkang. The assembly plant for NEVS was roofed recently, while the painting plant is under construction. It’s expected that NEVS’s R&D center and production plants will be completed at the end of 2017. Yudo Auto released its alternative energy SUV sales target of more than 100,000 units in three years recently. The controlling party for Know Beans has been transferred from Geely Auto to Geely Holdings Group, largely increasing Know Beans’ status in the group. Alternative energy vehicle project for SD EV is planned to be constructed and put into operation in August, 2018. The newly-researched connected alternative energy concept model form Hozon Auto has made debut on the third world Internet conference. As the only one listed low-speed electric vehicle company, Green Wheel will transfer to high-speed area in the near future.
