Electric heavy-duty truck maker Windrose Technology bags $110 million in Series B financing
On April 11, Chinese intelligent zero-emission heavy-duty truck developer Windrose Technology announced the completion of a new round of financing, with investors including HSBC, HITE Hedge Asset Management based in Boston, Goodman Group, and executives from globally renowned brands and logistics companies.

This marks another round of financing for Windrose Technology following the B1 round in December 2023. The Series B funding has so far raised for the company a total of $110 million to support the testing and mass production delivery of its zero-emission heavy-duty trucks in China, the United States, Europe, and other regions.
The funds from this financing will be used to accelerate the development and delivery of Windrose Technology's 670km long-range electric heavy-duty trucks with a full load of 49 tons, as well as to promote vehicle testing and operation route testing in China, the United States, Europe, and other regions. Additionally, Windrose Technology will expedite the layout of its supply chain and the build production capacity in Europe and the United States.
In the field of charging infrastructure, Windrose Technology, in cooperation with Goodman Group and BorgWarner, will saw their first batch of 960kW megawatt-level fast charging piles complete construction and begin operation soon.
Windrose Technology's partners include Decathlon, Goodman Group, Rokin Logistics, Kerry Logistics, TÜV SÜD, among others. The first electric heavy-duty truck from Windrose Technology will gradually enter the Chinese, European, and American markets starting in 2024.
