Chery Holding’s H1 auto sales exceed 1 million units for first time
Beijing (ZXZC)- In June 2024, Chinese automaker Chery Holding sold 200,412 vehicles, marking a 38% year-on-year surge. Among which, 44,851 units were new energy vehicle (NEVs), shooting up 230.6% from a year ago.

In the first six months of this year, Chery Holding's cumulative sales zoomed up 48.4% from the previous year to 1,100,621 vehicles, surpassing the one-million-unit mark for the first time in the company's history. NEV sales for the first half of the year totaled 180,947 units, jumping 181.5% year on year.
Regarding the overseas markets, Chery Holding exported 97,034 vehicles in the past month, representing a 22.7% year-on-year jump. In the first half of this year, the automaker’s cumulative export volume stood at 532,158 vehicles, growing 29.4% from a year ago.
Breaking down the performance by brands, June sales of the Chery brand came in at 123,694 vehicles, up 28.5% year on year. In the Jan.-Jun. period, Chery brand sold a total of 706,767 vehicles, indicating a 41.9% leap from that of the previous year.
The EXEED brand saw its June sales reach 13,252 vehicle, which grew 34.6% year over year. The brand’s year-to-date sales amounted to 54,447 units, representing a 28.9% increase from a year ago.
The JETOUR brand experienced significant growth, with June sales of 42,088 vehicles and year-to-date sales of 223,555 vehicles, surging 94.8% and 98.9% year over year, respectively.
The iCAR brand, with its first product launched just four months ago, sold 5,907 vehicles in June and 25,586 vehicles in the first half of the year.
