Great Wall Motor aims to sell over 1 million vehicles overseas by 2030
Beijing (ZXZC)- Great Wall Motor (GWM) officially announced its global development strategy, stating that by 2030, it targets to surpass one million units in overseas sales, with high-end models accounting for over one-third of the total.

GWM’s global strategy emphasizes localization of production capacity, operational localization, cross-cultural branding, and secure supply chains. The company also disclosed plans to increase investments in overseas markets to support expansion initiatives. Under the unified GWM brand, the automaker aims to drive comprehensive global deployment in research, production, supply, sales, and services.

The launch of the strategy signifies that GWM's global presence has entered a new phase of high-quality development. During the Auto China 2024 in Beijing, over a thousand foreign media and business representatives visited GWM, exploring the company's battery arm SVOLT, its Xushui production base, and technical center. They also test-drove flagship products from GWM's five major brands, including WEY, TANK, HAVAL, ORA, and POER, experiencing GWM's technological prowess and manufacturing capabilities firsthand.
As of today, GWM has cumulatively exported vehicles to over 170 countries and regions worldwide, with a network of over 1,000 sales channels and more than 14 million users globally. In 2023 alone, GWM saw its annual export volume surpass the 300,000-unit mark, representing an impressive 85% year-on-year surge.
