Porsche kicks off presale of new Taycan in China
Shanghai (ZXZC)- The new Porsche Taycan model has started its pre-sale in China, coming with seven variants with prices ranging from 1.008 million yuan to 1.998 million yuan, Porsche announced on April 10.
As a refreshed model, the new Taycan continues to offer both the sedan and Cross Turismo body styles, with adjustments made to exterior details, as well as upgrades to its configurations and power.

In terms of appearance, the new Porsche Taycan adopts the latest familial design language and has been redesigned in detail, resulting in a more sporty overall look. The car's headlights have been upgraded to include HD Matrix technology, featuring a pixel array composed of over 32,000 LED sources.

The side profile of the new car is relatively sleek and continues to offer the Cross Turismo version as an option. Moreover, the new Porsche Taycan is equipped with newly designed large sports wheels and a high-performance braking system.

At the rear, the iconic through-type taillight assembly has also been redesigned, paired with a central luminous "PORSCHE" badge for distinctiveness.
Inside, the new Porsche Taycan also adopts the iconic interior design, with an LCD instrument panel paired with a central control screen, a passenger entertainment screen, and a touch-sensitive air conditioning control panel. The three-spoke multifunction steering wheel with a drive-mode-selection knob and integrated sports seats further enhance the driving atmosphere inside the car. Meanwhile, the vehicle is equipped with the latest infotainment system and includes an upgraded Apple CarPlay system.
In terms of equipment, the new car comes with a BOSE sound system, front-seat heating, wireless charging, a panoramic imaging system, front charging ports, Sport Chrono package, adaptive air suspension, drive mode selector knob, and an upgraded power steering system, among other features.

Power-wise, the new Porsche Taycan 4 Cross Turismo edition features an electric motor that churns out a maximum output of 320kW, with a WLTP-rated range of 693km and a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 4.7 seconds. The Turbo S edition carries an electric motor that is good for 700kW, and can zip from 0-100km/h within 2.4 seconds. It features a 630-km range under WLTP conditions thanks to a 105kW power battery.
