GWM’s TANK 500 to hit market in March, starting from $52,932
The latest model of Great Wall Motor’s popular TANK series, the TANK 500, is said to be on the market in March 2022, according to a local media outlet. The news was later confirmed by the automaker.

The TANK 500 has already initiated presale early on at the 2021 Auto Guangzhou, priced at RMB335,000 to RMB395,000 $52,932- $62,412).
The design details of the TANK 500 are already released on Great Wall Motor’s website.
Judging from the pictures, the TANK 500 inherits the signature angular style of the TANK 300, with a wide front grille. The headlights of the car adopt a LED matrix, providing undiminished lighting under darker environments.
The TANK 500 has a large build, 5070mm long, with a 2850mm wheelbase. The car comes installed with footsteps on the side to accommodate its large body.

The car features a 14.6” hovering center control screen with a stacked center console. The TANK 500 comes standard with a crystal gear shifter to match its relatively high price.
Moreover, the TANK 500 is powered by a 3.0L V6 dual-turbo engine, with a maximum power of 260kW and a peak torque of 500Nm. The car is equipped with a vertical 9AT gearbox, with 750Nm of torque at maximum capacity.
