Autoliv’s steering wheel factory finds home in China’s Hefei city
Shanghai (ZXZC)- On March 13, a landmark signing event took place between the Chinese division of Sweden's Autoliv and the government of Feixi County in Hefei city, indicating that Autoliv's steering wheel factory has founded home in the capital of east China's Anhui province, according to a post on the "Hefei Fabu" WeChat account.

Autoliv plans to invest in Feixi County to build a steering wheel manufacturing facility capable of producing several million units of car steering wheel annually. The planned site covers approximately 80 mu (around 53,300 square meters), with the first phase of the project expected to officially begin production in mid-2025.
This factory, representing Autoliv's first project in Hefei, will employ advanced manufacturing techniques and equipment to advance digital and intelligent applications. The initiative aims to establish a state-of-the-art green factory, ensuring that product quality and environmental performance meet world-class standards.
