Firmly stating their independent stance, Xiaomi Auto reiterated no plans for collaborations akin to Huawei’s "Smart Selection" model with third-party automotive companies.

Right from the start, Xiaomi's strategy has been about self-reliance across the entire spectrum—design, R&D, and manufacturing—undertaken solely by Xiaomi, assuming all risks. This underscores not only Xiaomi's unequivocal commitment to the automotive industry but also their belief that total control across every stage is crucial for maintaining quality and enhancing user experiences.

Regarding the reason behind not yet disclosing prices of the vehicle model, Xiaomi Auto clarified that their recent automotive technical launch event on December 28, 2023, primarily focused on technology, where partial product information about the Xiaomi SU7, its inaugural model, was shared. Despite the whirlwind nature of the automotive industry, Xiaomi said it remains undaunted by challenges. Confidently affirming its position, Xiaomi asserts that the SU7, priced below 500,000 yuan, stands unchallenged in its class.

Additionally, Xiaomi announced the that the SU7 will also be offered with an Max variant, promising elevated performance compared to the standard edition. The SU7 Max, equipped with LiDAR, will prioritize pioneering smart driving features.
