Beijing (ZXZC)- On January 2, AVATR, the high-end new energy vehicle brand co-developed by Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL, announced its December 2023 delivery figures, reaching an all-time high of 6,106 units.

Specifically, monthly deliveries of the AVATR 11 model stood at 4,102 units in the past month, marking six consecutive months of sequential growth. Meanwhile, the automaker’s other model on sales, the AVATR 12, saw its December delivery volume reach 2,004 units. 

The AVATR 12 officially hit the market on November 10 last year and has garnered over 20,000 fixed orders in the first month. Coming with three trim levels, the AVAR 12 is priced between 300,800 yuan and 400,800 yuan. Moreover, nationwide delivery of the AVATR 12 kicked off on December 10.

In the year of 2023, AVATR’s annual delivery volume came in at 27,589 units in total.

Additionally, a significant development emerged on December 12, with AVATR Technology appointing Zhu Huarong, Changan Automobile's Party Secretary and Chairman, as its chairman. This transition involved Tan Benhong stepping down from his role as AVATR Technology's Chairman and CEO to assume the role of Changan Automobile's Deputy Party Secretary.
