Chery Holding achieves highest-ever sales in 2023, surpassing 1.88 million units
Beijing (ZXZC)- Chery Holding released its annual sales report for 2023, closing the year with a remarkable performance. With 215,690 vehicles sold in December, the group has seen consecutive month-on-month growth for 12 months last year.

Throughout the year of 2023, Chery’s annual sales stood at 1,881,316 vehicles, representing a 52.6% surge from a year ago, while also refreshing the company's historic annual sales record.
Facing intense industry competition, Chery Holding pursued a path of high-quality development, emphasizing brand elevation, international market expansion, technological advancement, and holistic value chain industry growth. This strategy resulted in three historical achievements: the group's annual revenue exceeded 300 billion yuan for the first time, marking a 50% year-on-year spike and a significant leap of 100 billion yuan from that of the previous year; the full-year vehicle sales surged to 1,881,316 units, outpacing the industry's average level; and the group exported 937,148 vehicles, which soared 101.1% year on year.
With over 13 million global automobile users (including 3.35 million overseas), Chery Holding continues to evolve its brand pyramid, focusing on new energy product lineups that fuel sustained rapid sales growth.
Delving into the cornerstone brands within the Chery Holding portfolio for passenger vehicles, the annual sales figures for 2023 manifest an impressive surge.
The CHERY brand’s annual sales amounted to 1,341,261 vehicles in 2023, jumping 47.6% from the year-ago period.
Meanwhile, the EXEED brand scored a 134.9% year-on-year spike in yearly sales, which stood at 125,521 vehicles.
JETOUR, the SUV-dedicated brand, sold 315,167 vehicles throughout 2023, posting a 75% year-over-year surge.
In addition, Chery’s iCAR brand, which kicked off pre-sale of its inaugural model on December 18, has garnered over 10,000 orders for the iCAR 03 by December 31.
