Beijing (ZXZC)- On October 26, Chinese legacy automaker Great Wall Motor saw the inaugural CKD Poer pickup truck roll off line at the automaker’s CIAUTO factory in Ecuador.

This milestone signals Great Wall Motor's commitment to providing an enhanced product experience for Ecuadorian customers and showcases the continuous development of the company's technological prowess and expanding global presence.

Since entering the Ecuadorian market in 2009, Great Wall Motor has been actively promoting localized operations to offer products that better align with the needs of local customers. CIAUTO stands as Great Wall Motor's first authorized overseas CKD assembly factory in Latin America and one of the three major KD assembly facilities in Ecuador. Following the successful localization of several product lines, including the Haval H5, the Haval M4, and the Wingle pickup, Great Wall Motor now celebrates the local assembly of the Poer pickup.

Great Wall Pickup, a star segment from Great Wall Motor, has achieved a global cumulative sales volume exceeding 2.45 million units so far. Notably, the Poer pickup range, being the most popular product line of Great Wall Pickup, took less than 100 days to reach the production milestone of the first 10,000 units since its initial rollout. In China, it has consistently recorded monthly sales exceeding ten thousand units for 37 consecutive months.

To date, the Poer pickup has been available for sale in over 50 countries worldwide.
