BYD kicks off pre-sale of Song L SUV, starting at 220,000 yuan
Beijing (ZXZC)- On October 31, BYD officially commenced pre-sales for its latest midsize SUV, the Song L, with a price range of 220,000 yuan to 280,000 yuan.

This new addition to the BYD Dynasty lineup is built on the e-Platform 3.0 and comes equipped with CTB (Cell to Body) technology, intelligent electric four-wheel drive, DiPilot intelligent driving assistance, and the DiSus-C body control system.
In terms of dimensions, the Song L features measurements of 4,840 mm in length, 1,950 mm in width, and 1,560 mm in height, with a 2,930 mm wheelbase, surpassing its predecessors, the Song PLUS and the Song Pro.

The interior of the Song L embraces a minimalist design philosophy, creating a rich sense of depth with its layered and intersecting center console lines. It retains BYD's classic rotating center screen and a large LCD instrument panel, complete with the DiLink smart connectivity system.
The vehicle boasts a generous array of features, including a customized 12-speaker HiFi sound system from Dynaudio, an active fragrance system, and various driving modes for an immersive cabin experience. Furthermore, the Song L incorporates the advanced BYD DiPilot intelligent driving assistance system, covering a wide range of scenarios and offering over 30 assistance functions, enhancing overall driving safety.
Power options for the Song L include a single-motor and dual-motor version. The single-motor version delivers a maximum power output of 230 kW, while the all-wheel-drive version features front and rear electric motors with power outputs of 150 kW and 230 kW, respectively. In terms of pure electric range under CLTC conditions, the Song L offers impressive figures ranging from 550 km to 662 km. The vehicle features independent double-wishbone suspension at the front and rear, combined with the DiSus-C intelligent damping control system, which strikes a balance between comfort and handling performance.
