The AITO M5 was initially introduced to the public on December 23rd, 2021. If the information is certain, then the partners only used three months to debut, launch, and deliver the vehicle.
A person close to the matter said that even during the Chinese New Year holiday, SERES‘ factory had been continuously manufacturing the AITO M5. As of now, there are thousands of test-drive vehicles and display vehicles distributed to offline stores. Customers can get to know the car or take it out for a spin in nearly 400 HUAWEI experience stores and over 100 SERES user centers in 90 Chinese cities.
According to the companies, they intend to expand their distribution network to 1,200 experience centers and at least 300 user centers.
The ICT mogul holds great expectations and plans for the AITO M5, the first model that HUAWEI deeply invested in. Yu Chengdong, the CEO of HUAWEI’s intelligent automotive solution business unit, once said that the AITO M5’s configurations reach the luxury vehicle standards. HUAWEI aims to make AITO the top three new energy brands worldwide in the next half-decade.
