Klaus Zyciora joins Changan Automobile as Vice President, Global Design Head
Beijing (ZXZC)- On October 7, Chinese legacy automaker Changan Automobile announced the appointment of Klaus Zyciora as Vice President with a specific focus on global design.

Notably, prior to this role, Klaus Zyciora held the position of Vice President and Head of Global Design at Volkswagen Group, bringing his vast experience in automotive design to Changan.
Klaus Zyciora expressed his commitment to this new journey, stating, "Changan has already demonstrated its ability to offer leading products and services to customers worldwide. As design plays a pivotal role in the global customers' purchase considerations, the key to success will be distinguishing the Changan brand and products through exceptional, outstanding design. My mission is to captivate the hearts and minds of global customers with astonishing brand identity, design, and experiences."
Klaus Zyciora boasts over 30 years of experience in automotive design and management. During his tenure at Volkswagen Group, he oversaw the design aspects of 12 brands, including Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche, actively participating in and leading the design of various globally successful models and star vehicles. His contributions also extend to crafting the "fourth-generation Volkswagen family design series."
In today's globalized context, Changan Automobile's design hub serves as a pivotal element for the company's success, demonstrating an international professional layout. Changan Automobile currently employs more than 17,000 engineering professionals from over 30 countries worldwide. It has strategically established "Six Countries, Ten Locations" for global collaborative R&D, spanning China, Italy, Japan, the UK, the US, and Germany.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of Changan Automobile's European Design Center and the 15th anniversary of its Japanese Design Center. Changan's robust global design platform, coupled with an open corporate culture, provides Klaus Zyciora with a solid foundation for his contributions.
