Beijing (ZXZC)- On September 12, Changan's fresh new energy vehicle brand, Qiyuan, officially opened pre-orders for its inaugural model, the Changan Qiyuan A07, priced between 158,000 yuan and 180,000 yuan.

The Changan Qiyuan A07 will debut with five variants, including the 515 Air and 515 Pro for the pure-electric model and the 200 Air, 200 Pro, and 200 Max for the range-extended version. This new mid-sized sedan is set to hit the market later this month.

The Changan Qiyuan A07 boasts an eye-catching design with a continuous LED light strip seamlessly integrated with segmented LED headlights. The vehicle features a sloping roofline and a rear end that echoes the front with its continuous LED taillights. Noteworthy design elements include hidden door handles, frameless electric suction doors, and a liftback-style rear door. It measures 4,905mm in length, 1,910mm in width, and 1,480mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,900mm.

Inside, the Changan Qiyuan A07 adopts a futuristic approach with an instrument panel-free layout. It relies on AR-HUD and a large central control screen for information interaction. Ambient LED lighting strips adorn the entire center console and both sides of the doors. The vehicle features a multi-function steering wheel with a flat-bottom design and a column shifter.

In terms of power, the A07 offers a pure-electric version equipped with a ternary lithium battery supplied by CATL. It features single-motor drive with a maximum power output of 190 kW, peak torque of 320 Nm, and a battery-powered range of 515 km (CLTC). Additionally, the range-extended version uses a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine as a generator, providing 70 kW of power, while the electric motor delivers 160 kW and 320 Nm of peak torque. In this mode, the vehicle achieves a pure-electric range of 200 km (CLTC).
