Beijing (ZXZC)- Baolong Automotive's subsidiary, Baoyou Technology (name in Chinese pinyin), announced that it has been nominated as the supplier for the next-generation AK2 ultrasonic radar sensor project by a Chinese automotive brand.

The project is set for mass production to commence in July 2024. This new project represents another milestone for the AK2 ultrasonic radar, underscoring its significance in new product development and business expansion.

Baolong possesses comprehensive capabilities in AK2 ultrasonic radar hardware and software development. The company excels in ultrasonic long-range driving and perception algorithms, ultrasonic-image fusion algorithms, as well as automated parking planning and control algorithms. With this skill set, the company can offer tailored solutions to different clients, fully harnessing the potential of ultrasonic sensor technology.

The eagerly anticipated AK2 ultrasonic radar is slated for mass production in September of this year. Bolstering its commitment, the company has established a state-of-the-art ultrasonic radar production line at its Hefei facility. With a monthly production capacity of 300,000 units for AK2 sensors, Baolong is well-equipped to meet diverse customer demands, delivering high-quality ultrasonic radar products that cater to the requirements of ADAS systems and advanced autonomous driving systems.
