Beijing (ZXZC)- Chery Holding reported remarkable monthly sales figures for July, with 150,466 vehicles sold, marking a 14.4% year-on-year increase, and setting a historic record.

This marks the 14th consecutive month that the company has achieved monthly sales surpassing 100,000 vehicle. In the period from January to July, Chery Holding posted a cumulative total of 891,895 vehicle in sales, showing a significant year-on-year leap of 47%

Specifically, the CHERY brand sold 110,296 vehicles in July, reflecting a 7.7% rise compared to the same period last year. For the first seven months of the year, CHERY sold a total of 649,723 vehicles, representing a substantial year-on-year growth of 41.3%.

Meanwhile, the EXEED brand witnessed an impressive 223.6% year-on-year soar in July sales, which stood at 11,462 vehicles. From January to July, EXEED sold a total of 53,702 vehicles, which shot up 133.2% from a year ago.

JETOUR, the brand specializing in SUVs and crossovers, sold 21,512 vehicles in July, representing a 28.9% jump from the earlier year. For the first seven months of the year, JETOUR’s cumulative sales volume came in at 133,893 vehicles, hiking up 72.2% year over year. 

With a lineup of exciting new models such as the Chery TJ-1, the Chery eQ7, the JETOUR Traveler, the EXEED Yaoguang C-DM, the EXEED STERRA ES, and the iCAR 03 set to be launched in the second half of the year, Chery Holding is poised to continue its pursuit of record-breaking sales figures.

Amidst the rapid expansion in sales volume, Chery Holding has also witnessed a significant improvement in its business performance. In the first half of this year, the company's revenue reached 127.4 billion yuan, indicating a 49% surge year on year. As of now, Chery Holding boasts a global user base of over 12 million, with more than 2.8 million users hailing from overseas markets.
