BYD releases teaser images of Fangchengbao’s first model
BYD today released the teaser images of the first model under Fangchengbao (translated to “Formula Leopard”) brand, the “Bao 5” (translated to “Leopard 5"). The new car will be positioned as a rugged-looking SUV, equipped with the new hybrid platform DM-o and the DiSus-p intelligent body control system.

Geely Auto sets up resource recycling technology subsidiary
According to Tianyancha, a Chinese corporate information platform, on July 19, Zhejiang Jixin Resource Recycling Technology Co., Ltd. was established as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Geely Auto Group, with a registered capital of 20 million yuan. Its business scope includes R&D of resource recycling technology, production of industrial waste metal recycling, recycling and cascade utilization of new energy vehicle waste power batteries, remanufacturing of automotive components, sales of new energy vehicles, and recycling and dismantling of scrapped electric vehicles.
First batch of DENZA N7 cars shipped nationwide
Zhao Changjiang, General Manager of BYD-backed DENZA’s sales division, said via his personal Weibo account that the first batch of DENZA N7s has been shipped nationwide. The model officially hit the market on July 3, positioned as a pure electric hunting SUV, offering 8 trim levels with a price range from 301,800 yuan to 379,800 yuan.
