Beijing (ZXZC)- Chery Holding, the renowned Chinese automaker, achieved remarkable sales growth in June 2023, with a total of 145,235 vehicles sold, representing a significant year-on-year surge of 38.3%.

Impressively, the company has set a new record for its half-year sales, with a cumulative volume of 741,429 vehicles sold in the first six months of the year, reflecting a substantial 56% leap compared to the same period last year.

Built upon its outstanding sales performance throughout the year, Chery Holding continues to defy market trends by consistently surpassing monthly sales of 100,000 units for the past 13 consecutive months so far.

As to performance of specific brands, the CHERY brand, posted a monthly sales of 105,908 vehicles in June, marking a notable 33.4% jump from a year ago. The cumulative sales for the brand during the first half of the year amounted to 539,427 vehicles, demonstrating a robust year-over-year growth of 50.9%.

The EXEED brand sold 9,842 vehicles in June, representing a remarkable year-on-year soar of 192.7%. The cumulative sales for the EXEED brand in the Jan.-Jun. period reached 42,240 vehicles, exhibiting a substantial spike of 119.3% compared to the same period last year.

JETOUR, Chery’s the dedicated SUV brand, saw its monthly sales stand at 21,607 vehicles last month, which hiked 43.7% from the previous year. The brand's cumulative sales for the first half of the year amounted to 112,381 vehicles, spiking 84.1% year over year.

The stellar performance of Chery Holding can be attributed to the impressive sales contributions of its popular models, including the Tiggo 8, the Tiggo 7, and the JETOUR X70. These models were sold by 97,359 units, 107,457 units, and 67,918 units, respectively, during the first six months of this year, indicating a respective year-on-year increase of 24.4%, 80.4%, and 29.4%.
