The total investment for this project is approximately 1.03 billion yuan and will be implemented in two phases, according to the information from Wenling New District.

The first phase primarily involves the renovation of the existing plant, upgrading the consumer-grade production line to an industrial-grade production line, and the research and manufacturing of vehicle-grade product series. The renovation is set to start within one month from here on out and be completed by Sept. 2024, with production commencing in Dec. next year, continuing until the relocation of the first-phase production line.

The second phase will involve leasing a newly constructed plant for the R&D, production, and sales of MEMS, IC, and other business products, as well as the relocation of the entire first-phase production lines to the new plant. The plan is to commence the renovation by the end of 2025 and start full-scale production in 2026.

Upon completion of the project, Geener will focus on the development and testing of their own automotive-grade power device series, while simultaneously tackling new products and businesses such as MEMS and IC. They will strive to promote in-house innovation and transformational upgrades in the semiconductor industry.
