Great Wall Motor plans to build battery packaging plant in Thailand

According to Narong Sritalayon, managing director of Great Wall Motor’s Thailand division, the Chinese automaker plans to invest up to $30 million in constructing a battery packaging plant in Thailand. It is also considering establishing an R&D center in Thailand to focus on the development of battery-powered pickup trucks.
