Leapmotor delivers 3,435 vehicles in Feb.
China’s EV startup, Leapmotor, saw its monthly delivery volume soar over 400% year on year in February but more than halved from January 2022, the company reported on March 1st.

In the second month of 2022, Leapmotor delivered 3,435 vehicles, up 447% from a year ago. However, with its January delivery volume hitting a record high at 8,085 vehicles, Leapmotor’s February delivery plummeted 57.5% month over month.
By the end of February, the cumulative delivery volume of Leapmotor amounted to 11,520 vehicles this year.
Moreover, the auto startup counted its users’ on-road usage situation during the Chinese New Year holiday in February. During the time, Leapmotor users accumulated 12.62 kilometers on the road, with 51,389 ACC activations, 2,852 LKA activations, and 54 AEB engagements.
Reportedly, Leapmotor’s fourth production model, the C01, will be showcased at the Beijing auto show in April. The auto startup revealed the sedan’s technical traits on February 25th. According to Leapmotor, the C01 will be the first production model equipped with CTC battery technologies, allowing 700 km of range. The vehicle will be five meters long but can run from 0-100km/h under 4 seconds. Presale of the C01 is said to start in June, with its suspected delivery dated in September 2022.
