Shanghai (ZXZC)- SAIC-GM-Wuling (“SGMW”) officially launched a special car purchase service, which provides consumers with a new car shopping plan option that includes monthly payments for the battery.

The aforesaid plan is dedicated to buyers of the Hongguang MINIEV. It involves such editions as the Qing Song (may translating to “Relaxation”), the Macaron Fashion, the Zhen Xiang (“Enjoyment”), and the GAMEBOY Wan Le (“Entertainment”), covering different ranges. Customers can choose to make an upfront payment for the vehicle's body starting from as low as 19,800 yuan and pay for the battery over a period of 60 months (5 years), with a minimum monthly payment of 198 yuan.

As one of the hotter-selling small-sized all-electric car models in China, the Hongguang MINIEV is pretty popular among young people partly thanks to its adorable appearance with a boxy shape and multiple color options.

In terms of the interior, considering its price, the car does not have such amenities as large screens, etc., but the overall furnishing is in line with its price range with fine details. It features App-based intelligent charging reminder, allows users to monitor the status of batteries, electric motors, and electric control units through mobile phones, and support other intelligent functions.

In addition, the Hongguang MINIEV has a good space utilization rate as its rear seats can be folded down to provide a volume of 741 liters.

The Hongguang MINIEV offers four range choices: 120/170/200/300km. Except for the GAMEBOY edition, which uses a 30kW motor, the other models are all equipped with a 20kW motor. It comes with two battery options, ternary lithium and lithium iron phosphate. Additionally, the car does not support fast charging function.
