Among its subsidiaries, GAC Toyota outshone others with a Feb. sales volume of 63,200 units, which leapt 26.15% from the previous year. The new energy vehicle (NEV)-dedicated GAC AION was the fastest-growing one with its Feb. sales surging 252.87% year on year to 30,086 units.

The two Sino-Japanese joint ventures—GAC Honda and GAC Mitsubishi—were the only two subsidiaries that faced a downward movement in Feb. sales.

Due to the sliding performance in Jan., GAC Group’s year-to-date sales dwindled 19.06% from the same span in 2022.
