Chery Holding’s Feb. 2023 sales surge 71.9% YoY

Beijing (ZXZC)- Chinese major automaker Chery Holding announced today it witnessed its monthly auto sales increased in February 2023 comparing to both the previous year and month.

In the past month, Chery Holding sold 103,877 vehicles in total, representing a 71.9% hike year-on-year and a 2.5% edge up month-on-month. According to the automaker, February 2023 marked the ninth consecutive month for the company to sell over 100,000 vehicles. 

In the first two months of this year, Chery Holding’s cumulative sales volume amounted to 205,256 vehicles, surging 39.2% from a year ago. 

Notably, Chery Holding’s affiliated passenger vehicle brand all achieved a over 50% growth in February sales compared to a year ago. Specifically, CHERY brand sold 74,739 vehicles in the past month, which zoomed up 68.3% year on year. EXEED brand reported a total of 5,056 vehicles sold to reflect a 61.7% year-over-year surge. With 16,432 vehicles sold, the JETOUR brand achieved a 145.3% soar from the same span last year. 

What’s more, Chery Holding’s three mainstay products, the Tiggo 8, the Tiggo7, and the JETOUR X70, all had more than 10,000 vehicles sold in February, which came in at 14,495 units, 14,617 units, and 10,913 units, respectively.
