Shanghai (ZXZC)- NIO's first Germany-based NIO House opened for business on Dec. 16 local time in the country’s capital, Berlin, according to a post on NIO's WeChat account. It is the second user center NIO launched in Europe.

The new NIO House is located on Kurfürstendamm, one of the most famous avenues in Berlin, and is near to the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, one of the renowned landmarks of the city. The three- storey building not only serves as a showroom for new cars, but also offers local users a space to have yoga classes and appreciate artworks.

On the opening day of the facility, Zhang Hui, Vice President with NIO Europe told to the media and guests that NIO set up a design studio in Germany as far back as 2015, and started offering German users its full-process experience in Oct. 2022, including launching battery swap stations and NIO Houses.

NIO plans to open more NIO Houses in other cities of Germany, such as Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, and Hamburg.

The first NIO House for European users was launched in Sept. 2021 in Oslo, Norway.

Zotye announced on December 18 that its subsidiary, Zhejiang Zotye Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. recently inked an exclusive dealership agreement with Lvsai International Trade (Yongkang) Co., Ltd. to sell and provide aftersales services for 10,000 units of the T300 vehicle model in the Middle East in 2022-2023.
