Schaeffler cements cooperation with several Chinese state-owned companies at 5th CIIE
Shanghai (ZXZC)- The Germany-based global automotive supplier Schaeffler signed agreements with several Chinese state-owned companies at the 5th China International Import Expo (CIIE) to carry out strategic cooperation in such field as energy, mining, and heavy equipment, the company announced via its WeChat account.

On Nov. 6, Schaeffler and China Huaneng Group Co., Ltd. ("China Huangneng") inked an intention procurement agreement under which both parties will cement their collaboration in bearing applications.
As a main bearing supplier to China Huaneng, Schaeffler will further step up the cooperation with the partner to offer products and service with higher efficiency, greater intelligence, and sustainability, and support its client in low-carbon transition.

On the same day, Schaeffler entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with China First Heavy Industries ("CFHI"). Per the agreement, the duo will strengthen their collaboration on the manufacturing of large-sized equipment, and CFHI should choose Schaeffler as its bearing supplier in priority. Besides, the Germany-based company will assist CFHI with the early-phase equipment lectotype and design.

On Nov. 7, Schaeffler signed a global supply contract with Ningxia Tiandi Benniu Industrial Group Co., Ltd. ("Tiandi Benniu'), which is affiliated to China Coal Technology & Engineering Group ("CCTEG"). As the two parties' partnership has been cemented, Schaeffler will provide comprehensive supports for Tiandi Benniu in supply of bearings, and technology and service training and tender.
