President of BAIC’s premium electric vehicle brand ARCFOX resigns 

Wang Qiufeng, deputy general manager of BAIC BJEV and president of ARCFOX, resigned for personal reasons, BAIC BluePark confirmed. BAIC BluePark, the holding company of BAIC BJEV, has seen annual losses for two consecutive years, with net losses attributable to shareholders of 6.476 billion yuan in 2020 and 5.244 billion yuan in 2021.

Gotion High-Tech to start mass delivery of semi-solid-state battery in 2023

Chinese battery player Gotion High-Tech said via its investor interaction platform that the company’s highly-safe semi-solid-state battery achieves an energy density of 360Wh/kg, and offers up to 160kWh of energy in in-vehicle battery packs, and over 1,000km in range. The battery can be installed onto vehicles by the end of the year and start mass delivery in 2023.

CATL sets up supply chain management company

Guangdong Brunp Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. was established with a registered capital of 100 million yuan recently, according to Chinese corporate database Qichacha. The company is authorized to operate in such areas including supply chain management services, electronic special materials sales, high-performance non-ferrous metal and alloy material sales. The company is indirectly jointly owned by CATL and other companies.
