BYD joins hands with Saga Group to promote NEVs in Brazil
Shanghai (ZXZC)- BYD, the leading Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturer, has forged a partnership with Saga Group, the largest dealer group in Brazil, with their first cooperative store opened in Brasília, the capital of Brazil, according to a post on BYD's WeChat account for overseas businesses.
As of now, BYD's automobile dealer network has included 10 stores in the country, offering outstanding NEV sale and after-sale services to local consumers.

"The cooperation with the biggest dealership group in Brazil is very important to consolidate BYD's brand in the Brazilian market and to catalyze the electrification of local transportation", commented Tyler Li, General Manager of BYD Brazil.
Up until now, BYD has had 10 dealerships operating in Brazil, and its franchises have been granted in 31 major cities there. Its local presence is expected to reach 45 cities and cover 100 locations in the country by the end of 2023.
BYD has launched such electric vehicle (EV) models in Brazil, such as the Tang EV, the Han EV, and the D1. Presale of the Song PLUS DM-i kicked off in the country not long ago.
On Oct. 18 (local time), BYD Brazil formed a strategic partnership with Santander Bank ("Santander"), a leading Brazilian bank in automotive financing, to provide local customers with one-stop auto financing services, from credit analysis and credit approval, to payment options through a fully digital platform.
