Geely-backed ZEEKR hits delivery milestone of 40,000 units
Shanghai (ZXZC)- ZEEKR, the Chinese premium EV brand owned by Geely Holding, announced on Sept. 14 the cumulative deliveries of the ZEEKR 001, its first production model, has reached 40,000 units.
According to ZEEKR's WeChat post, it took the carmaker 110 days, 107 days, and 64 days respectively to deliver the first, second, and third 10,000 vehicles. However, the period for the deliveries of the fourth 10,000 ones was shortened to only 45 days.

ZEEKR saw the monthly deliveries of the ZEEKR 001 hit a new high of 7,166 units in August, leaping 42.7% from the previous month.
By the end of August 2022, the EV maker had delivered 37,205 ZEEKR 001s cumulatively, 31,198 units of which were delivered this year.
ZEEKR eyes an annual delivery volume of 70,000 units in 2022. Based on the delivery performance achieved so far this year, the EV maker should deliver around 36,000 vehicles in the rest of the year to fulfill the target.
ZEEKR's second mass-produced model is an all-electric MPV, named ZEEKR 009. It will be the world’s first production model with CATL’s Qilin battery inside.
The automaker has released some basic information of the ZEEKR MPV, including exterior, dimensions, and electric motor power. Notably, the model will feature a drag coefficient as low as 0.27.
