Huawei-backed AITO kicks off delivery of M7
Beijing (ZXZC)- AITO, the new energy vehicle brand backed by SERES and Huawei, delivered its first M7s on August 24th in Chongqing and Shenzhen, only 51 days after the model hit the market.

At the delivery event, AITO disclosed that the brand has opened up over 700 user centers and experience centers in 171 Chinese cities by August. The automaker expects to expand the number to more than 1,200 centers by the end of the year.
Moreover, on the upcoming Huawei new product launch event scheduled on September 6th, the ICT giant will also introduce the battery-electric version of AITO’s first production model, the M5.
The M7 is AITO’s second production model on the market. It is a six-seater range-extended large-size SUV inheriting the brand’s luxury and intelligent position. The model is also deployed with Huawei’s latest signature HarmonyOS smart cockpit with L2+ ADAS functions.
The M7 is installed with the HUAWEI DriveONE six-in-one extended-range powertrain. The rear-wheel-drive trim offers a battery-only WLTC range of 195km and a combined range of 1,100km. Meanwhile, the four-wheel-drive trim allows a battery-electric WLTC range of 165km and a combined range of 1,000km.
The model is priced at RMB319,800-RMB379,800 ($47,800-$56,800).
