Beijing (ZXZC)- XPeng released interior images of its new model, the G9, and kicked off presale on August 10th. The model is expected to hit the market in September and start delivery in the fourth quarter of 2022.

The G9 features an embracing and luxury cockpit design. It is installed with a two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel and embedded LCD dashboard. The 14.96” center control screen connects with the 14.96” passenger-seat screen as a dual display. The three screens (including the dashboard) can interact and link with each other.

Intelligence-wise, the G9 is powered by a 3D UI human-machine interactive system, which can project the three-dimensional world it senses through its perception system onto the onboard screen, helping to acquire and demonstrate driving information. 

Moreover, the vehicle is installed with Qualcomm 8155 automotive chips, enabling all-scenario voice control system in the four sound sections onboard on/offline.

In addition, the G9 is loaded with the Xopera Xpeng music hall, consisting of the Confidence premium audio system from Dynaudio. Pairing with the onboard ambient light and aroma functions, users can experience the 28 acoustic units with Dolby Atmos technology in an immersive 5D scenario. 

Previously, the CEO of XPeng, He Xiaopeng, once called the G9 “the best SUV model priced below RMB500,000 ($73,970)”, connoting that the G9 will not be priced over the said level. The actual sales price of the model will be disclosed in September.
