Beijing (ZXZC)- In July, JAC Group saw a month-on-month growth in its monthly sales volume for the third consecutive month.

In the past month, JAC Group sold 43,800 vehicles, an increase of 11.55% year over year. In the first seven months of the year, the group’s cumulative sales volume amounted to 279,000 vehicles.

Specifically, JAC Group’s commercial vehicle sector sold 17,900 vehicles, up 8.96% month on month and 9.93% year on year. In the Jan.-Jul. period, JAC Group’s cumulative commercial vehicle sales summed up to 127,200 vehicles.

In July, JAC Group sold 25,800 passenger vehicles, representing a 12.71% increase over the year-ago period. In the past seven months, the group managed an 8.67% year-over-year growth in cumulative sales with 114,500 vehicles sold in total.

Notably, JAC Group noted that the sales volume of the group’s sedans greatly surged 114.89% from a year ago to 5,873 vehicles last month. By the end of July, the group sold a total of 26,518 sedans in 2022, jumping 70.28% year on year.

JAC Group said that with its all-new Sehol Aipao sedan coming to the market, sales of battery-electric passenger vehicles reached 17,212 units, indicating a 43.35% surge from a year ago. In the first seven months of this year, the group’s cumulative sales volume of battery-electric passenger vehicles equaled 97,301 units, up 43.9% compared to a year ago. 

In addition, JAC Group sold 8,300 vehicles in overseas markets, growing 24.67% year on year. By the end of July, the group has sold 57,100 vehicles overseas this year, increasing 39.79% over the previous year.
