Geely Automobile July sales jump 24% YoY
Beijing (ZXZC)- In July, China’s major automaker, Geely Automobile Holdings Limited (Geely Automobile), sold a total of 122,633 vehicles, jumping 24% from a year earlier.

From January to July, the cumulative sales volume of the automaker amounted to 736,475 vehicles, edging up 1% year over year.
To be specific, the Geely brand sold 97,186 vehicles in the past month, indicating a 20% increase from a year ago. With 13,633 vehicles sold in July, the EV brand Geometry achieved a 176% spike compared to a year earlier.
Geely Auto’s jointly owned brand with Volvo Cars, Lynk & Co, sold 15,007 vehicles in July, down 18% year over year. For the first seven months of 2022, the accumulative sales volume of the brand totaled 92,265 vehicles, which was 27% less than a year ago.
In the same month, Lynk & Co delivered 205 vehicles via subscription in Europe, decreasing 46% from a month earlier. In the past seven months, the brand delivered 6,458 vehicles through subscription in the European market.
In the same month, Geely Auto’s high-end EV brand, ZEEKR, delivered 5,022 ZEEKR 001s, increasing 17% month over month. The year-to-date delivery volume of the brand amounted to 24,032 vehicles by the end of July.
Moreover, the automaker’s jointly owned brand with Lifan Auto, Livan Auto, sold 5,418 vehicles in the past month, up 10% from the earlier month.
Additionally, Geely Automobile exported 13,167 vehicles overseas in July, representing a 87% soar year over year. In the first seven months of 2022, the group exported 100,795 vehicles, which zoomed up 67% from a year ago.
