Dr. Chen, a master's graduate and doctorate alumni from Tsinghua University and the University of Michigan respectively, joined HUAWEI as chief scientist of the ICT giant’s autonomous driving department, in charge of perception technologies in 2018.

Prior to HUAWEI, Dr. Chen also worked as technical expert and project manager in Eaton. In 2017, Dr. Chen joined DJI as chief engineer.

ZXZC has contacted HUAWEI’s Intelligent Automotive Solution Business Unit for Chen’s resignation, but the company has yet to respond.
