Li Auto delivers 13,024 units in June, orders for L9 surpass 30,000 in 3 days
Beijing (ZXZC)- China’s new energy vehicle startup Li Auto witnessed overall upward movement in its June and Q2 sales volume compared to a year ago.
In the past month, Li Auto delivered 13,024 vehicles, indicating a 68.9% surge year over year, and a 13.3% increase month over month. In the second quarter of 2022, the automaker managed a total delivery volume of 28,687 vehicles, climbing up 63.2% compared to the previous year.
In the first six months of 2022, the cumulative delivery volume of the startup amounted to 60,403 vehicles, more than doubling from the same span last year with a 100.32% growth.

On June 21st, Li Auto officially debut its second production model, the L9. The model is positioned as a flagship full-size SUV that is family-friendly. The six-seater adopts Li Auto’s proprietary range extension system and chassis system, offering a combined CLTC range of 1,315km.
The model comes standard with over 100 flagship features at a retail price of RMB459,800 ($68,650).
Since its launch, the L9 has received positive feedback from users, accumulating over 30,000 orders as of June 24th, 2022, commented Yanan Shen, co-founder and president of Li Auto. Delivery of the L9 can be expected by the end of August.
As of June 30th, 2022, the Company had 247 retail stores in 113 cities, as well as 308 servicing centers and Li Auto-authorized body and paint shops operating in 226 cities.
