HUAWEI’s auto partner SERES delivers 7,658 vehicles in June
Beijing (ZXZC)- In June, Chongqing Sokon Industry Group Stock Co., Ltd. (Sokon Group), the auto group owning the brand SERES, continued to witness growth in its new energy vehicle sales.

In the sixth month of 2022, Sokon Group sold 25,703 vehicles, jumping 20.51% year over year. From January to June, the cumulative sales volume of the group amounted to 125,669 vehicles, notching down 5.36% from a year ago.
With 12,418 vehicles sold, the group’s new energy vehicle (NEV) sector scored a 185.41% year-over-year hike and a 18.8% month-on-month increase in June sales. In the first half of this year, the group managed to sell a total of 45,622 NEVs, representing a soar of 204.51% compared to the previous year.
In addition, 7,658 units of the NEVs sold in the past month were SERES-branded, shooting up 524.12% year over year. Comparing to the earlier month, the June result is still 40.77% higher than that of May. From January to June, SERES sold 21,581 vehicles cumulatively.
Notably, SERES’ cooperative high-end EV brand with HUAWEI, AITO, is launching its second production model on July 4th. The model, namely the M7, is designed to outperform a one-million-yuan luxury vehicle in comfortable and intelligent experience.
